Tipsy Gypsies Offer Grooves Designed for Singing and Dancing
The Tipsy Gypsies present a Concert at the Plaza show that invites audience members to experience the infectious joy felt on-stage. While intermixing favorite tunes, new and old, with intentional improvised jams, the band engages concert-goers through grooves designed for singing and dancing.
Based in the Central Coast of California, the Tipsy Gypsies members are Hilary Langdon and Reese Galido (vocals), Forrestt Williams (guitar), Laura Foxx (sax and clarinet), Brian Lanzone (bass) and Daryl VanDruff (drums)
In 2017 and 2016, the Tipsy Gypsies won several San Luis Obispo New Times Music Awards, including Best Album, Best Live Band and Reader’s Choice. Today, the band continues to fills large stages like Live Oak Music Festival and SLO Concerts in the Plaza, as well as intimate venues, with their signature energized sound.
