The California Cyber Innovation Challenge is transitioning into the Space Grand Challenge and going global for the first time ever. This international competition is open to middle and high school students. Teams will compete in a gamified satellite cybercrime scenario to help solve Mission Kolluxium Z-85-0.
This cybercrime scenario is based on the breach of a network of satellites and involves analyzing puzzles, evidence, and digital forensics in order to solve the mission. Read the Mission Brief!
The development team has built a virtual-immersive environment, bringing the vision to life with an interactive and real-time 3D platform by Unity. The event will highlight the convergence of space, cybersecurity and digital forensics.
Space Grand Challenge will be broadcast on the CCI’s Twitch channel. Behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with the CCI team and interactive activities will be part of the show.
Interested middle or high school students who might be interested can register a team by Sept. 30.
