Preseason training camp commences on Friday, Aug. 11, as the Cal Poly Men's Soccer team prepares for an exciting season. The team's initial exhibition match takes place at UCLA on Tuesday, Aug. 15. They continue their exhibition schedule by facing San Jose State on Saturday, Aug. 19. The final exhibition game is held at home against Fresno Pacific, a Division II team, on Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Cal Poly's official 29th Division I regular season kicks off on Monday, Aug. 28, with a home game against Oral Roberts University. The team then embarks on a series of away matches, starting with San Diego State on Friday, Sept. 1, followed by San Diego on Monday, Sept. 4. Returning to their home turf, the Mustangs welcome Utah Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and go head-to-head with Air Force, the reigning Western Athletic Conference regular season champions, on Sunday, Sept. 17.
On Wednesday, Sept. 20, the team travels to Gonzaga for an exciting matchup, and on Saturday, Sept. 23, they renew their rivalry in the Blue-Green game against UC Santa Barbara in a non-conference matchup.
