You're invited to join in as the Cal Poly community celebrates the Mustang Legacy during “Poly Royal Celebration.” Festivities start with the Poly Royal Parade and continue all day with our Campus Showcase, featuring over 200 clubs and organizations, Dexter Stage, Poly Royal Rodeo Showcase and Concert, and additional special events.

The Poly Royal Rodeo Showcase and Country Music Concert featuring duo Thompson Square is the marquee event on campus during Open House. Get ready to hear hits like "Are You Going to Kiss Me or Not" and "If I Didn't Have You"! The Rodeo Showcase features the top West Coast collegiate rodeo athletes competing for a championship title in events such as barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, tie down roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding and steer wrestling.

“This is our big comeback event,” Coach Ben Londo says. “These students have been working hard behind the scenes for the last two years while COVID-19 precautions limited their ability to compete. Now, they get to shine.”
