Mustang Move-In is a family experience. First-year students and transfer students settle into their dorm rooms, meet new roommates, and explore campus with their parents and supporters on Thursday and Friday, September 14 and 15. After moving in, these students take part in Cal Poly's long-standing orientation tradition, Week of Welcome (WOW).

Move-in for continuing students will occur Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 18-19. 

Early move-in will be offered for Early Start Programs participants—students who are required to be on campus to support programming for fall opening. Learn more!

All residents must reserve a move-in appointment (in the Housing Portal under "Mustang Move-in") for a specific date and time to unload your vehicle, check-in, and park. Reservations will be open to new students on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Continuing students can reserve starting Wednesday, Aug. 30.
