The AgriSolar Clearinghouse is bringing its Follow the Sun tour to Central California! Follow the Sun is a series of hands-on field trips to see firsthand the benefits of co-locating sustainable agriculture and solar energy. The event includes visits to Gold Tree and Topaz solar farms, as well as a live webinar with Dr. Seeta Sistla and Amanda Gersoff from Cal Poly.
- 9:30 am PT: Live webinar at Cal Poly, San Louis Obispo
- 10:15 am: Shuttle to Gold Tree Solar Farm
- 10:30 am-12:00 pm: Tour Gold Tree Solar Farm
- 12:00 pm-1:30 pm: Shuttle to Topaz Solar Farm, Santa Margarita. (Enjoy boxed lunches on the shuttle!)
- 1:30 pm-3:00 pm: Tour of Topaz Solar Farm
- 3:00 pm-4:30 pm: Return to Cal Poly
