International Student Inclusivity Workshop - Wednesday, November 15
This session brings together Cal Poly faculty and staff who are interested in enhancing inclusive and equitable practices to bolster international students’ success. Focusing on topics ranging from cultural adjustment to academic success, we will discuss strategies for empowering this community of students to succeed, ways to increase academic support and to foster students' sense of belonging.
Sipping Coffee and Spilling Tea - Thursday, Nov. 16
A panel of international and domestic students share their perspectives on adapting to a new culture. Participate in the discussion while sampling specialty coffee and tea from around the world!
Virtual Open House: International Opportunities for Faculty & Staff - Friday, November 17
Join Dr. Nishanta Rajakaruna and Dr. Gregory F. Domber as they talk about their recent experiences abroad. Learn about international opportunities for faculty and staff including teaching abroad, developing a new study abroad program, applying for a fellowship or professional development seminar, group trips abroad, and more.
