Cal Poly Orchesis Dance Company proudly showcases its 54th annual dance concert, titled "Retrograde." Embracing the concept of Retrograde as the central theme, this year's concert draws inspiration from the compositional technique that involves reversing movement sequences, akin to playing a video in reverse. By flipping these phrases, fresh perspectives emerge, prompting choreographers to infuse their dances with moments of captivating retrograde sequences.The performance features an array of dance styles spanning various genres, crafted by professional guest artists, faculty members, and talented students from Cal Poly.

The shows are scheduled for January 19 and 20, as well as January 25 through 27. All performances start at 7:30 pm each day, with a matinee at 2 pm on Saturday, January 20th.
