The Cal Poly Symphony proudly presents its fall virtual presentation. The music of Gordon Jacob, George Walker and Ludwig van Beethoven will be interspersed with stories from student musicians about their experiences rehearsing and recording during this time.
Because of the pandemic, the Cal Poly Symphony has approached rehearsing and recording in a brand new way. The string section meets in person, while the wind and brass sections rehearse and record separately outdoors. In addition, some symphony members join via Zoom. This hard work is sure to result in an evening of beautiful music and heartfelt shared experiences.
