Join the Office of University Diversity and Inclusion for a concert and community resource fair in the UU Plaza featuring Las Cafeteras. Born and raised East of the Los Angeles River, Las Cafeteras are remixing roots music as modern day troubadours. They are a sonic explosion of Afro-Mexican rhythms, electronic beats and powerful rhymes that document stories of a community seeking to "build a world where many world fit."

 

This concert is the closing event during the day-long ¡Adelante! HSI Symposium that engages the campus community in Cal Poly's ongoing efforts to holistically serve every student.
