The School of Education and the World Languages and Cultures Department invites faculty and staff for discussion and networking event focusing on the importance of intercultural competence for faculty, staff and the students they serve. The event is intended to create a space for like-minded faculty and staff to meet and collaborate. The program will include a panel presentation by Paso Robles High School Social Studies teacher Geoffrey Land and his students, “In Search of Self: Identity in the Curriculum.”
Following this presentation, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to make connections with colleagues across disciplines and to brainstorm pathways for our students to become culturally responsive professionals.
No registration necessary.
